1. Height of glass railing according to the house structure.
1) The actual balcony glass railings of low-rise and multi-storey residential buildings shall not be lower than 1.05m. The net height of balcony railings of middle-high and high-rise residential buildings shall not be lower than 1.10m. 2) The height of stair handrail shall not be less than 0.90m. When the length of handrail of stair horizontal section is greater than 0.5m, the height of handrail shall not be less than 1.05m.
2. The glass balustrade shall be designed to prevent children from climbing. The clearance between the vertical bars of the railing shall not be greater than 0.11m. Measures must be taken to prevent children from sliding when the clearance of the stairwell is greater than 0.11m.
3. The net distance between the vertical bars of glass railings and handrails should not be greater than 0.11m to prevent children from drilling out.
